‘The Farmer Grows a Rainbow’

The Brunswick County Farm Bureau sponsored a special educational training event on April 15 for elementary educators from Brunswick County Schools. Curriculum coaches representing all elementary schools from the county school system took part in an orientation session related to the use of a new teaching kit, “The Farmer Grows a Rainbow.” 

The kit included multiple classroom lessons and accompanying physical activities for grade Pre-K through fifth grade that addressed nutrition and fitness education, along with core curricula.
