Matthew and Kasey Abbott of Shallotte are the parents of a son, Garrison Matthew Abbott, born at 4:19 a.m., Jan. 17, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.
He joins a brother, Gabriel, 3 1/2, and a sister Olivia, 19 months.
Maternal grandparents are Kay Hewett of Bolivia and Junior Hewett of Supply.
Paternal grandparents are Ann Abbott of Ocean Isle Beach and the late Reg Abbott.
Great-grandparents are Dorothy and Tracy Brown of Supply, the late Stacy and Florrie Sellers, Lena Gurganus of Shallotte and the late Billy Gurganus.
