Achterberg to host green radio program

 Jeff Achterberg of Verity Management Solutions LLC and Verity Property Maintenance & Inspections is hosting a radio program in the Wilmington area dedicated to energy efficiency building practices and other “green” topics, including products and services.

Achterberg is host of “Going Green–Your Building Performance Experts” airing from 10-11 a.m. Saturdays on WAAV 980AM. 

The show’s goals are to educate the listeners on current energy efficient and green news and issues, green products and services associated with the energy efficiency of buildings and other “green” industries that are current popular topics. 

Experts in various green and energy efficient building practices at the national and state level have been and will continue to be guests on the broadcast. Achterberg also covers product “scams” and provides his expertise to listeners who call in to ask questions. 

Call-ins are encouraged.

“The ‘Going Green’ radio broadcast will provide property owners with information regarding how they can make their homes and other buildings energy efficient,” Achterberg said. “That means they will save money on utility bills, be more comfortable and have better performance from their buildings. And they help to protect the environment too. That is what going and being green is all about. Verity now has an additional avenue to providing valuable information and resources that help listeners in the New Hanover/Brunswick County area save money. We will be providing seminars for homeowners this summer in the Leland area and south Brunswick County to help provide even more information for homeowners on these and other related topics, like rebates that help pay for building upgrades.”

The cost for these seminars will be $50 per person and refreshments will be provided. Listen to the show for details.
