Alert: Car break-ins

Recently the south end of Brunswick County, specifically in the area of Calabash Drive, Spring Hill Plantation and Oceanside Place, has experienced multiple incidents of breaking and entering of vehicles.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office urges everyone to follow these guidelines:

•Don’t leave your vehicle unlocked.

•Don’t leave valuables inside your vehicle.

•Be vigilant; watch for suspicious people in your neighborhood.

•When you see or hear something suspicious, call 911 and ask for a deputy to meet with you.

If anyone has information about who might be involved in these break-ins, please call the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at 253-2777 and ask for the detective division.
