All about teamwork

I’ll admit it. I didn’t expect the West Brunswick High School girls’ basketball team to have much success this season, not after what the Lady Trojans did last season and not after what they lost off that team.

But a year after finishing 6-19, failing to win a single conference game and losing most of its top players to graduation, West Brunswick found a way to turn it around.

The Lady Trojans completed the regular season with a 4-8 mark in Mideastern 3A/4A Conference play and an overall record of 13-11, much to my surprise and, it seems, theirs.
