Animal services shows compassion

To the editor:
My heart was broken last week when I lost my 16-year-old miniature dachshund, Moses. His heart and kidneys had been failing for a while, and although I realized his end had come, emotionally I wasn’t prepared. I ended up having to take him to Brunswick Animal Services.
When I arrived, I was so distraught, but from the minute I walked in the door, I couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate and loving group of people. They treated me and my Moe and my emotional state with such loving concern.
I will always be thankful and appreciative that I was able to leave Moe with such a wonderful group of people. If you could see a picture of Moe, you too would fall in love with him.
Saying “thank you” to the special employees at Brunswick Animal Services doesn’t really express my feelings, but thank you for your love and compassion when I needed it the most. There’s a special place in heaven waiting for each and everyone at Brunswick Animal Services. Many hugs, my friends!
