Arts Council names winners in annual show

Sunset River Marketplace in Calabash hosted Brunswick Arts Council’s 2012 fall show and sale. It was judged on Sunday, Oct. 7, and opened to the public on Oct. 8.
More than 200 works of art are included in the non-juried exhibition, including oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, collage and mixed media pieces, photography, plus three dimensional pieces in clay, wood and glass.
Judges were Myrtle Beach, S.C., watercolorist Alex Powers and North Carolina clay artist Hiroshi Sueyoshi.
