West Brunswick’s tennis match against Ashley last Wednesday was a contact-lens wearer’s worst nightmare, and it wasn’t any fun for the Trojans and Eagles with 20-20 vision either.
Winds were sustained at 16 to 20 mph with gusts up to 36 mph, and they changed directions as a storm approached.
Ashley nipped West Brunswick 5-4 in a contest ultimately decided by the last doubles match.
Manu Jarvis and Devon McDaniel defeated Jack Donohue and Chandler Inions 8-0 to give the Eagles the edge.
