Two left-handed batters did all the right things to make Senior Night one to remember for West Brunswick’s softball team on May 3.
The Trojans led South Brunswick by seven runs in the sixth inning when West’s seniors, Dez Avallone and Alyssa Chappell, came to bat with runners on base.
Avallone ripped a fastball to right field to score one run, and then Chappell blasted a curveball to center field to drive in two more runs and end the game an inning early as West won 10-0.
