Arrive at the Deep Point Marina, in Southport, to board the 9am ferry. A staff member will meet you with ferry tickets. After a 20 minute ferry ride, you will dock at Bald Head Island. Professional naturalists will meet you in golf carts, at the Island Marina, to begin your 2 hour tour. Take the opportunity to see birds, mammals, reptiles, and other amazing wildlife while learning about and exploring our pristine beaches, maritime forest, and marshes. At the end of the tour, you will have time to explore the Conservancy Campus, Turtle Central Gift Shop, and Fleming Education Center. Conservancy staff will then drive you to the Old Baldy Lighthouse or directly to the Island Marina.
