BB&T Jamboree set for this weekend

West Brunswick and South Brunswick will be among the teams competing in the 22nd annual BB&T Football Jamboree Friday at Legion Stadium in Wilmington.

The prep scrimmage is a fundraiser for 10 southeastern North Carolina high schools and student scholarships.

The Jamboree begins at 5 p.m., with a cheerleading showcase featuring 10 schools, including West Brunswick and South Brunswick.
