BCC bats light up scoreboard in 14-0 triumph

Brunswick Community College’s second inning was as explosive as a fireworks show, as the Dolphins whipped Stanly Community College 14-0 Sunday afternoon.

“We just got hits at the right time,” BCC coach Robbie Allen said. “It feels good because we haven’t been able to score bunches this year. We haven’t been able to string together hits. Now that we kind of know how that feels, maybe we’ll be able to do that more often.
