BCC hosts 2008 Campus Fund Drive

SUPPLY—Brunswick Community College’s 2008 Campus Fund Drive is in full force this week.

A hot dog sale and student games Monday kicked off GREEN MEAN$ GOAL$, an annual fundraiser which donates 100 percent of its proceeds to student needs.

Peg Aten, accountant for the BCC foundation, said the fundraiser has been a longtime tradition at BCC and all goes to help students, whether it’s buying a student a textbook or purchasing a banner for a campus event. The annual fundraiser raised $11,000 last year and the campus hopes to exceed that number this year.
