BCC wins shortened
BCC beat Stanly 5-0 in the second game, a game shortened because of darkness.
Stanly Community College had scored five runs in the top of the seventh to tie the score 5-5. BCC had two at-bats in the bottom of the inning before the home-plate umpire halted the game because of darkness. For BCC, starter Tory Schroff pitched six scoreless innings, giving up five hits. He struck out seven and walked none.
SCC scored five runs in the seventh against three BCC relievers.
