BCC receives $5,000 in scholarship funds

The Brunswick Community College Foundation has received $5,000 in scholarship money from a contractor, which is providing the money to five N.C. community colleges as part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebration.

John S. Clark Company, LLC, is donating $5,000 to Surry Community College, Forsyth Technical Community College, Guilford Technical Community College, Brunswick Community College and Cape Fear Community College, all located in counties where the Mount Airy-based company has offices. Ten students at each school will receive $500 scholarships.
