Belk KidFest fashion show on runway

Belk in Shallotte Crossing is hosting one of the department store chain’s bi-annual KidFests from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
KidFest features runway fashion shows with local children modeling Belk’s latest fashions and trends for kids.
KidFest activities and entertainment vary by store, but most will include refreshments, music, games, face-painting, balloons and prizes.

Children who serve as models for the fashion shows will receive 15 percent off any purchase in the children’s department. Customers can save up to 40 percent off the entire stock of kids’ apparel during the event. Complete details and a list of merchandise exclusions are available from the store.
