Belville hires new Public Works/ Parks and Recreation technician

-A A +A
By Brian Slattery

BELVILLE – Belville filled one open position during the Aug. 25 town meeting, with one more still open.

That’s 33 percent of the administration in a town with only three full time employees.

Mayor Mike Allen said Pat Walsh resigned from the Public Works/ Parks and Recreation technician roles earlier in the summer.

But the vacancy attracted 52 applications from as far away as Pennsylvania.

“Some applications you would call way overqualified and other were not very realistic,” Allen said.
