Creative Hands Occupational Therapy Inc. in Supply sponsored a Carnival Under the Big Top on Saturday, April 25, to celebrate National Occupational Therapy Month.

Occupational therapy helps thousands of people every day live life to its fullest. The success of OT was celebrated, hamburgers and hot dogs were served, faces and hair were painted.

Children enjoyed sliding down the castle wall. Occupational therapists work with children in their schools, homes and at the clinic.

Therapists at Creative Hands are licensed, credentialed professionals who assist children with a wide range of developmental delays, behavioral problems, ADD and ADHD, cognitive, sensory and physical disabilities.

They help children improve their fine motor skills, coordination, life skills, sensory integration, muscle strength, range of motion and more.

Donna Leanner commented there were many stations for a variety of sensory experiences, perfect for her son Michael and his best friend NaShon.

She also said both boys had a terrific time getting tattoos, picking ducks for prizes, and playing with children of all ability levels.
