Ray and Crystal Smith of Ash are the parents of a son, Ethan Ray Smith, born at 4:25 p.m. Jan. 22 at Brunswick Community Hospital.

He measured 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.

He joins a brother, Noah Zachary Smith, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Linda Atkinson of Ash and Terry Atkinson of Boiling Spring Lakes.

Paternal grandparents are Hilda Smith of Pireway and Junior Smith of Loris, S.C.

Great-grandparents are Della Smith of Lake Waccamaw and Madie King of Fayetteville.
