Blood drive set for Sept. 29

-A A +A

Every two seconds someone in this country needs blood. The Point Church at 324 Village Road NE in Leland is helping make sure that blood is available by sponsoring a blood drive with the American Red Cross from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.
In addition to the blood drive, family entertainment will also be provided, such as a moon bounce, face painting and other children’s games. Free hotdogs and beverages will be served.
To make an appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 399-3704.
The blood drive is open to the public. Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with a signed American Red Cross Parental Consent form, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in general good health, and have a picture ID.
Blood donors are encouraged to call 254-GIVE for more information.
