Sunset Beach police investigated the following incidents this past weekend. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.
• On July 20, a breaking and entering was reported at a residence on Indigo Circle. Someone forced a door open but nothing was taken.
• Police investigated a misdemeanor and larceny reported on the beach. Two young men picked up a beach bag and ran off with it. The bag was later found stashed behind a house on North Shore Drive. A set of keys was missing.
• On July 19, police received a report of a car break-in on Canal Drive on the island. Camera equipment, a Game Boy and games, jewelry and an MP3 player were stolen.
• Another car break-in was reported on Triangle Court. A set of golf clubs, radar detector, cell phone and GPS were stolen.
