Thus far the story of fall inshore fishing in Brunswick County has been one of big fish. While tainted waters from the flooding have made catching smaller fare a little more difficult than usual at times, live bait fishing for king mackerel and big red drum has been wildly successful. It’s great news for those who are after big game but less good for those of us seeking smaller redfish, trout and flounder.
