The Brunswick County Homeschool Activity Group invites all homeschooling families and their children in Brunswick and Columbus counties to a free Homeschool Field Day Friday, May 23, at Lockwood Folly Park on N.C. 211 in Supply.
Everyone who participates will receive a participation ribbon and the top three participants for each age group in the first hour’s events will receive first-, second- and third-place ribbons.
Registration is required no later than Friday, May 2, to ensure proper planning and ordering of ribbons.
Families are asked to arrive between 9:30 and 10 a.m. to check in. Events will start at 10:15 a.m.
Children should wear tennis shoes and appropriate clothing.
The event will also be a missions project, and each family should bring canned food items to the event to be donated to Brunswick Family Assistance.
Please bring a picnic lunch and drinks.
Volunteers are also needed.
