Brunswick County Sheriff's Office crime report

Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the following incidents last week, which are taken directly from sheriff’s office incident reports.

•Larceny of mail on Topsail Court in Carolina Shores; suspect drove up to victim’s mailbox and removed mail.

•Obtaining property by false pretenses; suspect used victim’s ATM card.

•Larceny of mail on Topsail in Carolina Shores; suspect drove up to victim’s mailbox and removed mail.

•Breaking and entering to an auto and larceny on Woodthrush Lane in Shallotte; suspect took a camera and a money from victim.

•Larceny on Earl Street in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect moved out and took items while owner was at work.

•Property damage on Goodman Road in Leland; suspect threw an object at victim’s windshield, damaging it.

•Larceny on Danford Road in Bolivia; suspect stole victim’s gun from a cabinet.

•Larceny on Oak Street SW in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect stole victim’s bicycle from her garage.

•Breaking and entering to a vehicle, larceny and property damage on Mount Pisgah at Holden Beach Road; suspect opened victim’s car hood, cut a hose and removed the radiator.

•First-degree burglary, larceny and property damage on Black Chestnut Drive in Leland; suspect opened victim’s door and stole ornamental swords, an iPod docking station, a DVD player, a car radio and locks on glove box of a scooter.

•Larceny on Long Beach Road in Southport; suspect took a case of Budweiser from a store.

•Larceny and trespassing on Long Beach Road in Southport; suspect told the cashier the manager lets him pay later. Suspect took two packs of cigarettes.

•Larceny of a motor vehicle and simple assault on U.S. 17; suspect assaulted victim and stole his car.

•Property damage on Cory Lane in Leland; suspect cut three of the victim’s tires on his truck.

•Larceny of a tag on Calabash Road in Calabash; suspect removed victim’s temporary registration tag from victim’s vehicle.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Sommersett Lane in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect opened victim’s storage shed and stole a generator, two outriggers, six fishing reels, a leaf blower and tools.

•Breaking and entering on Deerfield Drive in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect opened victim’s doors and entered residence.

•Breaking and entering, larceny and property damage on Fletcher Road in Leland; suspect entered gate and stole metal from a business.

•Larceny on Maco Road in Leland; suspect stole victim’s doghouse.

•Breaking and entering, larceny and property damage on Maco Road in Leland; suspect stole copper wire, sheetrock, an air conditioning unit, a sink, a bathroom cabinet, a cement pond and lights and a canopy from victim’s home.

•Harassment on Colon Mintz Road in Leland; suspect harassed victim.

•Property damage on Merrywood Road and Mount Misery Road in Leland; suspect damaged victim’s car.

•Property damage on Merrywood Road and Mount Misery Road in Leland; suspect damaged victim’s car.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Ocean Highway in Shallotte; suspect stole four 24-packs of embalming fluid, valued at $600, from a funeral home.

•First-degree burglary and strong-arm robbery on Pond Way SW in Shallotte; suspect assaulted victim and stole medication from victim’s residence.
