Brunswick County Sheriff's Office drug report

Agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the following suspects last week. All information is from a drug enforcement unit press release.

•On May 26, drug agents executed a search warrant on Heron Point Road in the Bent Tree community near Ocean Isle beach, where they seized about 1.6 ounces of “high grade” marijuana, heroin and related drug paraphernalia. The marijuana seized from the home carries an estimated street value of more than $1,500.

Patrick Dillon Pendleton, 24, of 1743 Heron Point Road, Ocean Isle Beach, was arrested without incident. Pendleton was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance, manufacture marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pendleton was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center, where he was on a $40,000 secured bond at press time.

•On May 27, drug agents executed a search warrant at 7542 Ocean Highway West in Sunset Beach, where they seized about 1.5 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of marijuana, money, two handguns and two shotguns, one of which was a sawed-off shotgun.

Drug agents arrested James Russell Hill III, 22, of 7542 Ocean Highway West, Sunset Beach. He was charged with possession with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hill was taken to the detention center, where he was released on a $20,000 secured bond.

•On May 26, drug agents investigated community complaints of drug-related activity at 1474 Shell Drive in the Shell Point community of Shallotte. Drug agents seized more than 1 pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, video surveillance equipment and money.

Richard Eric Mooney, 24, of 1474 Shell Drive, Shallotte, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, manufacture marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mooney was taken to the detention center, where he was released on a $30,000 unsecured bond May 27.

•On May 26, drug agents stopped a Chevrolet Tahoe in Shallotte for a traffic violation, where, after further investigation, drug agents discovered a cache of drugs and money. Drug agents seized about 3 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, Oxycodone pills and more than $1,400.

Andreis Ravon Jenrette, 26, of 2133 Seashore Hills Road, Supply, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, manufacture marijuana, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jenrette was taken to the Brunswick County Detention Center, where he was released on a $10,000 secured bond May 26.

•Bradley Joe Smith, 48, of 2913 Bridge Court, Sunset Beach, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Haitham A. Aslawada, 26, of 802 West 9th St., Southport, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
