A Navassa man has pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with the intent to distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine.
Damian Laverne Jennings, 32, of 220 Broadway St., was sentenced May 14 to 120 months and five years supervised release minimum.
Brunswick County Drug Enforcement Unit agents first arrested Jennings on multiple counts of distributing cocaine in early 2007.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office worked in conjunction with local prosecutor Chris Thomas, who is cross-sworn as a Special U.S. Attorney.
