Brunswick WaterFest promotion pumped up by TDA

Leland tourism promoters plan to ensure that if you haven’t heard about the Brunswick WaterFest yet, you will soon.

Barry Eagle, chairman of the Leland Tourism Development Authority, told the town board of commissioners they are about to start ramping up publicity for the new festival.

Leland will host the first Brunswick WaterFest the weekend of Sept. 20-22.

Events will be held throughout Leland and Brunswick County, including Brunswick River Park, Town Creek, Sturgeon Creek and Eagle Island.
