Building HOPE Ministries and Beach House Harley-Davidson are sponsoring the annual “Riding for Hope” ride and rally from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the parking lot at Beach House Harley-Davidson on U.S. 17 in Shallotte.

The event is described as an evangelistic, fundraising outreach for prisoners’ children (Angel Tree kids).

The public, bikers and non-bikers alike, is invited to bring a chair and join in for a time of praise and worship, food on the grill and testimonies. You do not have to ride to participate.

Churches, ministries and entertainers are invited to set up a booth by calling 842-9418 for details.

Participants so far include Hellfighters, Azuza Ministries, Church of the Lost & Found, Free Ministry, Holden Beach, Church of God, Glory Ministries, Bikers Against Hunger and others.

This is a fundraising event to help send underprivileged children to a weeklong Christian retreat in June and July, back-to-school supplies and clothing and Christmas gifts for mom/dad in prison.

You can sponsor a child for a $40 love donation and receive and event shirt.
