Calabash commissioners approve advertising for new administrator

CALABASH—Town commissioners on Tuesday night approved placing an ad for a new town administrator.

The position has been vacant since town administrator Donna Prince was fired by commissioners on Feb. 20.

Kelley Southward has been serving as interim town clerk.

The ad will be placed for a period of four to six weeks in various publications.

Town commissioners also approved having pre-agenda meetings prior to their regular meetings.
