CALABASH—For the second month in a row, residents of two subdivisions in the seafood capital turned out Tuesday night to protest county sewer service.
The $7 million project is too expensive for property owners, they said, and they never wanted it in the first place. They also charge the town never gave residents a chance to vote on the issue.
