The Carolina Shores Planning Board has approved subdividing a parcel of land for a proposed medical office complex.
Approval came at a board workshop April 16.
The owners of the site had applied for a major subdivision for a medical office building, Carolina Shores Town Administrator Jon Mendenhall said.
The parcel is outside the town’s corporate limits but within the town’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ), Mendenhall said.
In other business, the board scheduled some mandatory training during May with Allen Serkin, director of the Rural Planning Organization with the Cape Fear Council of Governments. The training is part of ongoing efforts to provide educational resources for appointed boards and committees, Mendenhall said.
