The town of Carolina Shores has hired a new attorney.
The town board of commissioners voted last week to hire James Eldridge of Wilmington to serve on an as-needed basis as town attorney.
Approval came at town commissioners’ monthly meeting Thursday, May 8, Carolina Shores Town Administrator Jon Mendenhall said.
The town board approved a resolution appointing Eldridge following a closed session after the town board workshop May 5, when Eldridge was interviewed and a resolution appointing him was addressed.
