Cate-McSwain engagement

Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Meghan Renee Cate and Thomas Keith McSwain, both of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The bride-elect is the daughter of Tim and Janet Cate of Sunset Beach. A 2004 graduate of West Brunswick High School and a 2008 graduate of North Carolina State University, she is a public relations coordinator for The Ritz-Carlton in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The prospective groom is the son of Jimmy and Karen McSwain of Holden Beach. He is district manager for Sea Star Line. An Oct. 22 wedding is planned at The Ritz-Carlton Resort in St.
