Trinity plans Aug. 17 service

Pastor Skip Williams’ sermon will be “Strength in Weakness,” based on scripture from Psalm 121 and Acts 9:19-22, 31, on Sunday, Aug. 17, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 209 East Nash St. in Southport.

There will be a casual worship service at 8:30 a.m., a contemporary service at 9:40 a.m. in Murrow Hall with the Trinity Worship Band and a traditional worship service in the sanctuary at 11 a.m.

Nursery care will be available during the 8:30 a.m., 9:40 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.

Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. for all ages and children’s church will take place during the 11 a.m. service.

Bible study registration set

Community Bible Study is now registering classes for 2008-2009 for children up to 5 years old.

Classes are from 9:15-11:15 a.m. each Wednesday beginning Sept. 10 at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, 6th Avenue South, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

There will be Bible stories, songs and activities. Snacks will be provided.
