Choir festival practices begin

Plans for the 2008 Brunswick Ecumenical Choir Festival are in place. The concert will be Nov. 2 at Calabash Presbyterian Church.

Practices are scheduled from 6-8 p.m. every Sunday evening beginning Sept. 14 at St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church, 4941 Main St. in Shallotte.

Practices were earlier incorrectly reported as being on Wednesdays.

Many churches in Brunswick County support this program, but individuals from any location or county are invited to participate.
