Homecoming, revival set

Beulah Baptist Church, 670 Hickman Road NW in Calabash, will have homecoming and revival beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12.

Revival will continue through Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. each evening.

The Rev. Bill McNeil of Supply Baptist Church will be the guest speaker.

There will be special music at each service.

Chapel sets service

Ocean Isle Beach Chapel will have services at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 at the chapel, 4 West Third St. in Ocean Isle Beach.

Minister is the Rev. John Chase of Beach Assembly of God.

Love festival set

Friendship Baptist Church, 2546 Ash-Little River Road in Ash, will host The Little Love in a Shoebox Festival on Sept. 27, with

all money donated going to its Operation Christmas Child mission project. A goal of 900

shoeboxes has been set.

Breakfast will be served from 7-9 a.m.; a hot

dog lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and a spaghetti supper from 5-7 p.m.

There will be a silent auction, bake sale, food items and a Mickey Mouse bouncer and games for children.

Horseshoes for adults will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to determine the Shoebox Festival Horse Shoe Champion.

Grace Missionary sets mini-revival

Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 340 Mulberry St. in Shallotte, will have a mini-revival beginning Wednesday, Sept. 24, through Friday, Sept. 26.

Services begin at 7 p.m. nightly.

The Rev. Max Pemberton will be guest pastor.

Little River church sets groundbreaking

Little River United Methodist Church, 1629 U.S. 17 at Mineola Ave. in Little River, S.C., will celebrate the groundbreaking of its new facility for worship, fellowship and ministry on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Worship service begins at 11 a.m.; processional to new site at 12:15 p.m.; and the groundbreaking ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

Complimentary lunch will be served on the grounds.

Tent meeting planned

Last Call Ministries, 1875 Old Mill Creek Road in Winnabow, will host a fall tent meeting on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-28.

Evangelist Marc Lamour of Orchard Ministries, Canada, will lead praise at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26.

The Rev. Tony Rogers will the 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. services on Saturday, Sept. 27, with the Rev. Terry Dove appearing at the 7 p.m. service.

The Rev. Dave Sexton will lead at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, with evangelist Earl Elwood appearing at the 7 p.m. service.

Lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.

Brown to speak

The Rev. Mary Brown will speak at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at House of Deliverance Worship Ministry, 636 Tryon Road, off McMilly Road in Shallotte.

Revival planned

Sweet Water of Life Church, 149 Mulberry St. in Shallotte, will host a revival at 7 p.m. Oct. 4–7. There will be guest speakers each night.

Medical clinic sets hours

The Brunswick Adult Medical Clinic, in the social hall of the Supply Baptist Church north of U.S. 17 and N.C. 211, will be open from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, and from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21.

The clinic is free and open to low-income individuals who do not have Medicaid, Medicare or private health insurance and need medical attention.

No appointments are necessary. Doctors, nurses and others volunteer their time to staff the clinic. There is still a need for doctors, nurses and other workers to volunteer to assist with the clinic.
