Sharon United Methodist Men will sponsor a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. April 26 at the church at 2030 Holden Beach Road.
Cost is $6 per plate. Proceeds will benefit the church building fund.

Passover services
Temple Emanu-El has announced its Passover schedule of services:
7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25; 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 26; Yizkor service will be from 10 a.m.-noon Sunday, April 27.
Holocaust Memorial Day observances
A community service for Holocaust Memorial Day begins at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Temple Emanu-el.
During the service, Rabbi Avi Perets will make remarks along with other members of the community followed by Yizkor and a Memorial Prayer.
Hugo Schiller, a holocaust survivor, will sign books written about his life, “I Remember Singing: A Boy Survives the Holocaust,” at the Temple Emanu-El Rosen Center after the Yom HaShoah service. Profits from the sale of the books will benefit the Hugo Schiller Holocaust Resource Center.
There will also be a book signing for “I Remember Singing: A Boy Survives the Holocaust” from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at Chapin Art Museum.
Church plans pastor celebration
The Little Wheel of Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Lake Waccamaw will celebrate the anniversary of its pastor, Rev. James E. Fullwood Sr., and his family at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4.
Come share in this time to honor the pastor for eight years of dedicated service to the church and community.
Rev. Leo Stevenson and the Big Macedonia Family of Supply will render the service.

Spring fun festival
The Ditto School of Creative Arts will host its Spring Fun Festival from 3-8 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Eastside Fellowship Church (The Purple Church), 4755 Main St. in Shallotte.
Everyone is welcome. Free admission.
There will be carnival-style games, concessions, live performances, face painting, cake walk, bake sale, dunking booth, moonwalk, chili cook-off, cookie contest, prizes and more.
All proceeds will benefit Ditto School of Creative Arts.
