CIS Gala is set to dazzle, raise funds on Thursday, Oct. 18

Communities in Schools of Brunswick County is gearing up for the 11th annual Benefit Gala for Children.

To help make the event possible, Progress Energy is serving as the presenting sponsor. In addition many other businesses in the community have shown their support for CIS.

“We have over 100 sponsors now,” said Kimberly Bandera, marketing and events director. 

The evening features music by the Andrew Thielen Big Band, live and silent auctions and Taste of Brunswick County, as well as dancing and other fun.
