CIS honored for volunteer hours, contributions

CIS of Brunswick County was recognized as the local affiliate with the most volunteers (1,934) and donating more than 67,000 hours of volunteer time in the school year of 2009-2010 at the 2011 Communities in Schools of North Carolina Training Institute. CIS Brunswick County leads all other affiliates in the state, which includes areas such as Charlotte and Wake County.
