BOLIVIA—Brunswick County commissioners have approved a master plan for upgrading Waccamaw Park in Ash.
However, they haven’t said yes to the $2.9 million the plan requires.
Jim Pryor, Brunswick County Parks and Recreation director, explained to the board how the master plan came together.
“(Waccamaw Park) was built (almost) 30 years ago and has been used to death,” Pryor said.
