Communities in Schools to offer scholarships

Communities in Schools of Brunswick County Inc. (CIS) will award 25 $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the county’s high schools.
This brings the total amount of scholarships awarded by CIS to more than $100,000. Last year, 22 students received help with tuition; nine were the first in their families to attend college.
