Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies issued the following citations and made the following arrests last weekend through its community policing program.

The sheriff’s office community policing program targets areas within the county with high crime and drug activity through increased patrols.

Areas targeted last week include Turkey Trap Road, Supply; the Longwood area, Sunset Harbor Road; McMilly Road, Shallotte; and Dutchman Acres near Southport.

The suspects and their charges, which are taken directly from citations and arrest reports, are:

•Matthew Kirk Horne, 21, of 809 Cedar Grove Road, Supply; cited for expired inspection.

•James Coy Money, 37, 5602 Walking Trail Way, Hope Mills; charged with consuming an alcoholic beverage in the passenger area of a vehicle.

•David Wayne Robinson, 62, of 209 Range Road, Hope Mills; cited for possession of an open container and failure to register a motor vehicle.

•Christy Brock, 47, of 1831 Elliot Farm Road, Fayetteville; charged with driving while license revoked.

•Timothy Caison, 51, of 627 Darby St., Bolivia; charged with possession of ounce or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Jymmie Robinson, 47, of 209 Range Road, Hope Mills; cited for throwing four beer bottles into the woods from a moving golf cart.

•Anthony G. Johnson, 20, of 1777 Turkey Trapp Road, Supply; cited for expired registration.

•Theresa Joyce Hewett, 53, of 1430 Morgan Road SW; cited for expired registration plate and driving with a child younger than 5 years old without being secured in the rear seat.

•Robert Carlton Copple, 65, of 2060 Raymond St. SW, Supply; cited for failure to maintain lane control and driving while subject to an impairing substance.

•Megan Morales Gelacio, 26, of Azalea Court No. 14, Bolivia; cited for driving without a license and open container.

•James S. Pittman, 66, charged with driving while impaired.
