Concerned about traffic congestion

I read the article in the Brunswick Beacon about the redesigning of the causeway (on Holden Beach). I was particularly interested in the start of the causeway between Wings and Exxon and Walgreen’s being built on the opposite corner.

I am a property owner in the Holiday Haven development and am concerned about the congestion at that area. My proposal would be to put in a traffic circle, which would keep the traffic flowing at all times.

I have seen them in numerous cities and they seem to be a perfect solution to this problem. The center part can be landscaped and even a fountain installed for further beautification.

Also, we are avid bicycle riders and would appreciate a bike lane if the whole causeway were going to be redesigned. This is for the safety concern of bicycle riders and vehicle drivers as well.
