LELAND—Coty Inc. has announced it will close its Leland assembly facility, which employs 90 people, by Dec. 31.
Cary Newman, general manager of Coty operations in Wilmington, announced last week that production in the Coty plant in Rocky Point will be phased out over the next year, costing 420 jobs, and the Leland facility, a returns processing and promotional assembly center, will be closed by the end of the year.
