Instead of thinking of Alaska or far west or a Caribbean Island, why not plan a trip to Quebec for next summer? Then, when the temperature and humidity soars on the Carolina coast, you’ll be playing the links in slacks and a sweater.

My husband and I have been to Quebec three times—on our honeymoon, then for a family reunion and just a few weeks ago for a second romantic trip a deux.
