Wedding

Carlin Marie Creech of Fayetteville and Bradley Thomas Smith of Raleigh were married May 19, 2012, at Haymount United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Dr. Brian Gentle and the Rev. David Gira officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Creech of Fayetteville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gordon Smith of Shallotte.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore an all-lace ivory gown with a V-shaped neckline with scalloped edging and a crystal-encrusted satin band highlighting the empire waistline.
Lindsay May of Hillsborough, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sarah Emily Buster and Catherine Mack Gaddis, both of Raleigh, and Candice Brooke Smith of Shallotte, sister of the groom.
They wore a pistachio green, sleeveless cocktail-length dupioni princess line sheath with open back and flat bow at back neckline.
Thomas Gordon Smith served as his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Adam Charles Hurley and Daniel Mark Hurley, both of Fayetteville; Myron Scott Strickland of Statesville; William Alan Joyner of Raleigh; Anthony Cade Brummett of Charlotte; and Matthew Tyler Thorsen of Shallotte.
A reception following the ceremony and was hosted by the bride’s parents at The Sandford House.
The bride graduated magna cum laude from Meredith College in 2011 and received her master’s of accounting degree from North Carolina State University. She is employed at Deloitte and Touche LLC.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University in 2006 and received his bachelor of science degrees in computer sciences. He is employed at Hill-Rom Inc.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple now lives in Raleigh.
