Crime report

Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the following incidents last week, which are taken directly from sheriff’s office incident reports:

•Larceny on McMilly Road in Shallotte; suspect removed speakers from victim’s vehicle.

•Larceny on Lanvale Road in Leland; suspect took victim’s vehicle without permission.

•Larceny on Maple Road NW in Ash; suspect took items off victim’s trailer.

•Vandalism on Settlers Way in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect broke victim’s yard light.

•Larceny on Bluebeard Trail SW in Supply; suspect stole victim’s golf cart.

•Property damage on Big Macedonia Road; suspect kicked victim’s door down.

•Property damage on Lake Forest Drive in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect broke victim’s mailbox off its post.

•Larceny on Sea Aire Drive in Supply; suspect took victim’s golf cart from the yard behind the residence.

•Larceny on Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia; suspect cut and stole copper wire from a church.

•Assault and property damage in the sound behind Bird Island; suspect was assaulted on a boat, which was also damaged.

•Property damage on Ellis Way in Shallotte; suspect hit victim’s car window with a log, breaking the windows.

•Breaking and entering on Castlebrook Way in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect broke into storage shed, damaged property and stole keys.

•Property damage on Sea Air Drive SW; suspect hit victim’s mailbox with a vehicle.

•Larceny on Holden Beach Road; suspect stole two skim boards from a store without paying for them.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Fleetwood Falls in Southport; suspect entered victim’s home and stole two laptops, a Playstation 3 and Guitar Hero.

•Property damage on Olde Thistle Downs Drive in Calabash; suspect damaged the green at the seventh hole of a golf course.

•Larceny on Maco Road in Leland; suspect took victim’s vehicle without permission.

•Larceny on Elon Drive in Supply; suspect stole gas out of victim’s vehicle.

•Larceny on Barracuda Street in Supply; suspect took a handgun from victim’s night stand.

•Assault with a deadly weapon on North Howe Street in Southport; suspect hit victim in the back of the head with an unknown tool, possible a knife.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Northwind Drive in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect entered victim’s home and stole a TV.

•Larceny on Ocean Highway East in Leland; suspect stole tag from victim’s vehicle.

•Breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on James Way in Leland; suspect broke victim’s passenger window and stole a purse.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Nursery Road in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect entered victim’s residence and stole an Xbox 360, Xbox games and a controller, and an iPod.

Sheriff’s deputies recovered the following items: two clear bags with green leafy substances, a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 and a State Employees Credit Union Visa card.
