Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the following incidents last week, which are taken directly from sheriff’s office incident reports:
•Breaking and entering on Croft Point Lane in Leland; suspect opened victim’s car door and stole change out of an ashtray.
•Larceny of a credit card and credit card fraud on Bostic Place in Shallotte; suspect removed victim’s credit card from her purse and made purchases at various area stores and gas stations.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Copas Road in Shallotte; suspect opened victim’s car door and took a purse, clothes, shoes and money.
•Forgery, uttering and larceny of checks in Calabash; suspect stole victim’s checks and forged them.
•Larceny on Olde Waterford Way in Leland; suspect pulled victim’s plants out of the ground and took them.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Ridge Way; suspect pried open victim’s backdoor and stole money and candy.
•Larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses on Town Creek Road in Leland; suspect stole victim’s check card.
•Breaking and entering, larceny and property damage on Crofters Court in Leland; suspect opened victim’s car door and stole money.
•Larceny on Ouida Trail in Supply; suspect stole eight Democratic political signs from victim’s yard.
•Property damage and illegal dumping on Sunrise Street in Varnamtown; suspect dumped trash in victim’s yard and put their bike in a pond.
•Counterfeit money on Long Beach Road in Southport; suspect passed a counterfeit $10 bill to McDonald’s.
•Breaking and entering to a vehicle, larceny, fraud on Thistle Down Street in Leland; suspect opened victim’s door and stole two credit cards.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Hall Street in Supply; suspect kicked in victim’s front door and stole a flat-screen TV.
•Suspicious fire on Stanbury Road in Supply; suspect burned victim’s residence.
•Breaking and entering and property damage on Shell Point Road in Supply; suspect entered victim’s residence through rear door, damaging the door, wall panel and copper pipe.
•Breaking and entering to a vehicle, larceny and credit card fraud on Crofte Pointe in Belville; suspect stole a GPS, money and credit card from victim’s vehicle.
•Larceny on Pireway Road in Longwood; suspect stole checkbooks from victim’s truck.
•Larceny on Oak Harbor Drive in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect removed a ring from victim’s kitchen table.
•Property damage and larceny on Stanley Road in Supply; suspect threw a rock through victim’s window and stole a flat-screen TV.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Leland School Road in Leland; suspect opened victim’s car door and stole an iPod.
•Breaking and entering and property damage on John T. Holden Road; suspect beat on victim’s door with hammers and pried open the door, causing property damage.
•Breaking and entering on Cedar Grove Road in Supply.
•Larceny on Hewettown Road in Bolivia; suspect stole a boat trailer, boat and engine from victim’s yard.
•Breaking and entering and sexual assault on Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia; suspect forced open victim’s door and sexually assaulted victim.
•Larceny on Oxpen Road in Supply; suspect stole gas from victim’s truck parked in front yard.
•Breaking and entering, property damage and larceny on Ocean Highway West in Calabash; suspect entered locked fence and stole items from victim’s car.
•Lost or stolen firearm on M. Hall Lane in Leland; victim’s firearm was taken from his bedroom.
•Communicating threats on Shallotte Parkway in Shallotte; suspect called and threatened to kill victim.
•Breaking and entering on Ocean Highway West in Calabash; suspect attempted to break in back door of victim’s business.
•Breaking and entering and property damage on Kingston Street in Supply; suspect broke into victim’s home, damaging door frame.
