Crime report

Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the following incidents last week, which are taken directly from sheriff’s office incident reports:

•Property damage on N.C. 211 in Southport; suspect dented victim’s car.

•Property damage on Butler Circle in Ash; suspect keyed victim’s car.

•Larceny of medicine on Robinson Park Trail in Supply; suspect took medicine from victim’s mailbox.

•Breaking and entering to a residence, breaking and entering to a vehicle and larceny on Jim Street in Shallotte; suspect entered victim’s vehicle and home and stole three CD players, stereo equipment, DVDs, a Playstation 2 and assorted games and jewelry.

•Larceny on Cottonwood Trail in Leland; suspect took 6-month-old dog out of victim’s locked fence.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Neese Circle in Leland; suspect pushed in victim’s garage door, damaging it and stole money.

•Larceny on Gate Three at Ocean Isle Beach; suspect stole jewelry from victim’s home.

•Breaking and entering on Uncle Charlie Lane in Ash; suspect forced open victim’s front door.

•Breaking and entering, larceny and property damage on Nautilus Lane in Supply; suspect kicked in victim’s door, damaging it and damaging a padlock, hinges and a water pump pipe.

•Fraud on River Road in Winnabow; suspect used victim’s daughter’s Social Security number for taxes.

•Breaking and entering, property damage and larceny on Cedar Landing Road in Supply; suspect damaged victim’s side window and stole a TV, clothes, $30 and a case of beer.

•Breaking and entering and property damage on Old Fayetteville Road in Leland; suspect entered victim’s back door and damaged it.

•Larceny and breaking and entering on County Loft Lane in Supply; suspect stole a firearm from victim’s house.

•Breaking and entering on Lot 13 Green Loop in Leland; suspect stole a laptop from victim’s home.

•Larceny on Market Street NW in Shallotte; suspect attempted to take victim’s golf cart.

•Larceny on Market Street NW in Shallotte; suspect stole victim’s golf cart.

•Larceny of gas on Maco Road in Leland; suspect called wrecker service for gas then drove off.

•Assault on Shoreline Drive in Supply; suspect hit victim in the face with fist.

•Property damage on Nunn Street in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect drove vehicle over victim’s cactus plants.

•Property damage and assault on Bonaparte Drive in Sunset Beach; suspect assaulted victim and damaged a glass storm door and the front door during the fight.

Items recovered by sheriff’s deputies include a stainless steel lighter with a picture of a buffalo on it, a stainless steel pocketknife and a North Carolina registration plate.
