Crime report

Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies investigated the following incidents last week, which are taken directly from sheriff’s office incident reports.

•Larceny on Oakland Drive in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect stole a bike from victim’s driveway.

•Larceny on Ocean Highway in Shallotte; suspect took engine off a mixer.

•Breaking and entering and property damage on Southbend Court in Leland; suspect forced side door of garage open and stole a TV, a VCR and a modem.

•Trespassing and property damage on Salt Marsh Circle in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect cut down victim’s rosebushes.

•Breaking and entering on Fifth Street in Shallotte; suspect entered through window, broke screen and stole DVDs, VHS tapes and two cases of Mountain Dew.

•Property damage and breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Topsail Court in Carolina Shores; suspect pried open victim’s window.

•Breaking and entering on Holden Beach Road in Supply; suspect stole one cash register and damaged another cash register.

•Property damage on Malmo Loop Road in Leland; suspect loosened terminal on victim’s car battery.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Cedar Lane in Supply; suspect cut screen, entered victim’s home and stole money.

•Property damage on Oakview Drive in Leland; suspect scratched victim’s vehicle windows with tool.

•Larceny on Riverhouse Drive in Bolivia; suspect stole seven distress flares and two air horns from victim’s boat.

•Property damage on Russtown Road NW in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect drove vehicle by and damaged victim’s mailbox.

•Breaking and entering on Odell Street in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect lifted latch and entered victim’s porch.

•Property damage on Buckeye Road in Leland; suspect used construction equipment to damage other equipment.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Goose Neck Road in Riegelwood; suspect opened door, vandalized victim’s home and stole war medals.

•Larceny/shoplifting on Ocean Highway West; suspect stole Icehouse beer from the Kangaroo store.

•Breaking and entering on Mount Misery Road in Leland; suspect opened door and stole a plasma TV, an Xbox 360 and assorted Xbox games.

•Larceny of a motor vehicle on Cedar Landing Road in Supply; suspect stole vehicle from victim’s husband’s workplace.

•Larceny on Ocean Highway; suspect stole a blanket, teddy bears, roses, balloons and flower arrangements from a grave.

•Property damage on Beach Drive in Ocean Isle Beach; suspect busted passenger window of victim’s car.

•Property damage on Indian Street in Supply; suspects busted out window of victim’s vehicle.

•Property damage at Shallotte Park; suspect used hammers to break windows of two vehicles.

•Larceny on Sabbath Home Road in Supply; suspect stole phone from a business.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Webster Court in Leland; suspect removed motorcycle from victim’s shop.

•Breaking and entering and larceny on Trucking Lane in Winnabow; suspect entered victim’s residence and stole a DVD recorder, a skill saw, a hammer, a CD player and cash.

Items recovered by sheriff’s deputies included a glass bowl and a vial of hydrocodone; two guns; a Chevrolet pickup truck, three rolls of telephone cable, scrap metal, one pair of men’s tennis shoes; 17 white pills in a small baggie.
